Yes, we are talking about one of the most good-looking headphones in the market, the Beats Solo HD. These headphones have the best of 2 worlds: Design and Sound Quality. I have them and I’m going to talk about them and make a small review, so you have some info before buying them.
In the official site you can see they cost 199.95 USD, so are on the price level of brands like Bose. Although they may seem to be expensive, the are worth every cent. I have had them for more than one year and they still are in perfect conditions. They have a metallic skeleton covered by sturdy, bright plastic. They come in white, black or red and five more different colors, and you get also a synthetic fabric case and 2 cables, one with ControlTalk and the other one normal. They can be exchanged, as the headphones have a 3.5mm jack plug, which means that you can plug and unplug the cable whenever you want.
Sound Quality 4/5
The sound produced by these headphones is simply stunning. They have excellent lows, so you would enjoy listening your most powerful songs here. If you love electronic music as much as I do, these are the perfect choice. Mediums and Highs are really good, and you won’t miss any detail of your song. They have a good sound isolating protection; so good that you would forget about the world when you have them on.
But if you want an improve in sound isolation, you might want to get the Beats Studio, with a noise cancellation system. Check them out here.
This is where you can completely forget about those Bose headphones you had in mind before. There is no match for these headphones’ design. Not only they can be pledged to become smaller and fit into small bags and, of course, their case, but the are the only whose cable can be unplugged from them, so if your cable suffers a pull it won’t break. Everyone can recognize these headphones, and you when they are filling your ears with the pleasure of good music.
The ControlTalk cable is fully compatible with most cellphones and smartphones, including the iPhone. It has 3 buttons: Up volume, Down volume and a center button; one click plays/pauses music, 2 clicks get the next song. You can answer calls with them; music will stop and the call will make it through when you answer, pushing the middle button. In case you manage to mess up the cable don’t worry, you can get replacement cables fairly easy and cheap.
